Build
2 1/2 oz madeira wine, (7.5 cl, 5/8 gills)
1 oz bourbon, (3 cl, 1/4 gills)
1 oz Lillet Blanc (3 cl, 1/4 gills)
2 dashes orange bitters,
4 oz water, (12 cl, 1 gills)
1 tsp brown sugar. (4 dashes)
Heat, but do not boil,
Traditionally, the mixture is heated by dipping a red hot iron poker into
it.
Serve in a mug (12.0 oz)
