Defunct proprietary 19th century misliteration & mistranscription of Boker's Bitters which appeared in the first and second editions of Jerry Thomas' cocktail recipe guides in 1862 & 1876, and subsequently in drink books quoting from those sources. Simply a corruption of "Bokers," this is a bitters brand that never existed!
