Wines used in mixed drinks


Generic for the unblended wines (both white and red, but mainly red) of Burgundy, France. Also commonly used to describe wines of the same grape basis and style produced in California and other places. Most common, in mixed drink use, as a component of punch or heated winter drinks.


Generally available. Produced and sold in France. Distributed world-wide. Available for on-line ordering in some markets.
